Volunteer – Invest in Our Community
So much of the impact and influence we are able to have in this community is because of those who make an intentional choice to serve. To serve the needs and conditions of others, to give your time and talents to benefit others, to change the life of another because of a sacrifice you have committed to, to see God’s hand in your life because you said ”yes” to HIS way of doing things all describe who a volunteer is. There is nothing that can compare to the heart of a volunteer.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
• Academy Tutor/Assitant Tutor
Help students build on their academic foundation within a group or 1-on-1 setting. We focus on helping students build their reading and writing abilities.
• Kids Church Teacher/Assistant Teacher
Share the gospel and help build character through teaching lessons from the Bible.
• Enrichment Volunteer
We are always looking for people who are passionate about their careers, hobbies, or skills. Your passion can spark interest in the lives of our students and have a lasting impact on them.
• Check-In/Check-Out Volunteer
The safety of our students is our number one priority. When students come and go we want to ensure that they are counted for and get home safely.
• Van Driver
Many of our students need transportation to and from Father’s Love. Some of the best conversations with students are had this time.
• Cooking
Just about every time a students walks through our doors for programming we prepare a warm meal for them. If you enjoy cooking for large groups or have a favorite recipe we would love for you to share that with our students.
• Cleaning
As you can imagine when you have as many students coming in and out of building, there is always a need for help with keeping our space clean.
